Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! My name is Kristin Lynds, and I am honored to join the Home of the Jr. Panthers as your new Principal. Our school is located in the heart of Huron County—north of London, south of Clinton, and west of Lake Huron—Exeter Elementary is a vibrant JK–Grade 6 school home to approximately 400 students. Many of our students take a bus to school, and others walk in from the surrounding community.
Exeter Elementary prides itself on ensuring our students receive a strong education in a caring and safe environment—one where every child is valued and welcomed every day. We prioritize well-being, kindness, and respect, holding firm to the belief that all students are capable of achieving great things when our school environment is inclusive, supportive, and engaging. Our collective goal as a staff is to build on student strengths, foster independence, and ensure our students soar.
Our school has a rich history, from its origins as the original 1939 high school building to modern additions like our on-site all-day daycare. A huge thank you goes out to our hardworking custodians, who spent the summer tirelessly preparing our classrooms and facilities so our spaces are safe, fresh, and ready for learning.
Our incredible team of Teachers, DECEs, Educational Assistants, Support Staff, Clerical Staff, Custodians, and Vice-Principal are eager to partner with you. We also deeply value our volunteers and our second-to-none School Council, whose dedication and fundraising enrich our programs and make Exeter Elementary a truly exceptional place to learn and grow.
