Welcome to Exeter Elementary School ~ Home of the Jr. Panthers!! Exeter Elementary is located in the town of Exeter in Huron County which is north of London, south of Clinton and west of Lake Huron. Our school is a JK-Grade 6 school with an enrollment of approximately 375 students. Many of our students walk to school; a percentage of our students are bussed. Our school was originally the town high school built in 1939. It has gone through a number of renovations, most recently our new all-day daycare which will be in operation at the beginning of September of 2020.
At Exeter Elementary we are dedicated to continuous improvement in all areas for the students and families we serve. We work hard to ensure our students develop a strong sense of pride and commitment to their work. We value the many volunteers who work with our students, including: parents, high school cooperative education students, retired teachers, and community members. Our School Council is an integral part of our school team working side by side our staff in the pursuit of excellence as well as fund-raising to support school programs and fun and enriching activities for our students. The support we receive from our School Council and the surrounding community is second-to-none and is part of what makes Exeter Elementary a truly great place to be!
Our dedicated staff includes: Teachers, Designated Early Childhood Educators, Educational Assistants, Technical Resource Assistant, School Office Clerical Staff, Custodians, Vice-Principal and Principal. Our collective goal is to provide quality educational experiences for our students, building on student strengths, in a safe and stimulating learning environment. Additionally we strive to develop student responsibility and independence– in short, our work is to ensure Exeter Elementary School students soar.
Whether you are a parent or guardian, volunteer or community member, come by and see what all the excitement is about!
